Client Success Story: From Rush Order to VIP Status – A Collaborative Label Journey

Client Success Story: From Rush Order to VIP Status – A Collaborative Label Journey

Client: Client M. from the US

Lead Time: 9 Calendar days

Product: Woven Labels (Two Sizes: Original 40x40mm and New 20x20mm)

The Challenge: Time-sensitive repeat order faced with size constraints, color yarn stock issues, and a key event deadline.

The Story: Overcoming Obstacles for a Seamless RUSH Delivery

Client M., a valued returning customer, placed a rush order for their high-quality woven labels, including a new, smaller size to accommodate a different product line. Our Customer Success Manager, Luna (luna@lynxlabel.studio), immediately initiated the design proof process.

Challenge 1: Designing Small

The first hurdle appeared when Client M. expressed concern about their intricate logo maintaining quality on the new 20x20mm label size. After a test run, our production team confirmed the original design was too dense for the smaller canvas.

  • Solution: Client M. quickly provided a modified, streamlined logo, which our team, led by Luna, confirmed was a perfect fit for the required 20mm width.

Challenge 2: The Unexpected Color Shortage

Just as the size issue was resolved, an unforeseen obstacle arose: the original Pantone color (3252C) was out of stock. Due to the holiday, the yarn refill would cause a 3-4 week delay, directly conflicting with Client M.'s event scheduled in 2 weeks.

  • Solution & Compensation: To meet the tight deadline, Luna offered two immediate options:
    1. Fully refund the rush fee and provide an extra amount of labels as compensation for any impact.
    2. Propose the closest in-stock color match (RGH773), while clearly communicating that it would appear slightly lighter than the previous order. Client M. collaboratively accepted the color change to prioritize the timeline.

Challenge 3: Color Consistency Feedback

Upon receiving the labels, Client M. noted that the color appeared a little bit different. Luna investigated and confirmed this was a result of switching to the in-stock yarn collection to ensure consistent texture and durability across all colors on the new labels.

  • Commitment to Quality: Luna assured Client K. that their original design and preferred colors (including the unavailable 3252C, which would be restocked soon) were permanently stored in our internal files, guaranteeing the option for a perfect remake in the future.

The Outcome: A VIP Partnership

Thanks to the swift collaboration and flexibility of Client M., Lynx Label Studio successfully rushed the production and shipped the new labels via Express delivery, ensuring they arrived well ahead of the upcoming event.

In appreciation of their understanding and partnership, Lynx Label Studio welcomed Client M. into our exclusive VIP Program, granting them a discount on all future orders for continued success. This case highlights how open communication and a solutions-oriented approach lead to successful outcomes, even under tight constraints.
